Hi, I'm straight! (I figure if we're ever gonna get where we need to be, making *no* assumptions on sexuality for anyone, and requiring *everyone* to, essentially, come out and self-identity is what's required. Rather than the nonsense of assuming straightness across the board and thus putting it only on gay, bisexual, pansexual, queer people to say otherwise.)

This made me laugh: "Calling myself “bisexual” in leftist queer circles can feel like being the old lady who still says “colored people” and doesn’t notice everyone looking at her funny."

And this touched my heart: "I’ve spent my second 20 years understanding what “bisexual” means to me — so I’m not giving up the label too easily." 🏳️‍🌈

I really wish we'd had more and more positive depictions of people not having kids, honestly. I'm confident that I never *wanted* to have kids, but that I often assumed that I would if I got married. Emphasis on IF because I was pessimistic about those chances for a long time ;) So when you doubt you'll be in the situation that you see as "when people have kids," at least in my case, you don't think too hard about if it's a societal-should versus an individual desire.
